Canon LBP151dw - How to enable PCL and Installing the PCL Printer Driver via USB Connection

In order to use a PCL printer driver with a USB connection, install the Printer Status Window and the UFRII LT Printer Driver beforehand, and after configuring the settings of the device according to the following procedure, install the PCL Printer Driver.

1. Start Printer Status Window

Select the machine by clicking in the system tray.

Note : If you are using Windows 8/8.1/Server 2012/Server 2012 R2, display the Printer Status Window after moving to the desktop.

2. Click [Options] in the menu, then select [Device Settings] followed by [PDL Selection (Plug and Play)]

3. In the [PDL Selection (Plug and Play)] dialog box, select [PCL6] under [USB] to enable PCL .
4. Click [OK]
5. Read the displayed message and click [OK]
6. Install the PCL printer driver while referring to "Installing from the Supplied CD-ROM/DVD-ROM"
7. On the [Software Programs/Manuals Setup] screen, click [Custom Installation] to install.
